Chicks Dig Scars.

Yesterday I had my first surgery. It was long awaited, as the original surgery was canceled when I tested positive for covid in pre op testing the day before surgery. Didn't know that was still a thing, but apparently asymptomatic covid is more important than stage 4 cancer. We will see. I was very happy with my team and care until this covid fiasco. Since then the communication and transparency has been complete bull shit.

So after a 3 week delay they removed the section of my colon with the tumor, and also the tumors in the "good half" of my liver. Everything seems to have gone as planned. I've been smashing the feel good button, so the pain has been very tolerable. 6 weeks 10lb weight restriction. Sweet. Then they will cut me open the same way again to remove the bad half of my liver and throw it in the trash, once the good side has a chance to grow bigger and heal from this surgery. Word on the street is I might be returning home on Saturday.

I apologize for not keeping this blog more up to date but it is what it is.

Thank you to everyone for the prayers, support, etc. It means the world to me having so many cool people in my life!
